Taking place in 1972, the show centers around the initial African American woman FBI operative (portrayed by Rachel Hilson) as she makes her way to the Southwest and enlists a brave escape chauffeur (played by Josh Holloway) in a daring attempt to dismantle an expanding criminal organization (headed by Keith David). However, true to form for Abrams' productions, the situation is not as simple as it appears at first glance in "Destre".
